The Great Australian Poet and Storyteller AB “Banjo” Paterson spent his childhood years in Yeoval on his fathers  property “Buckinbah”. So it was only natural that his association with the village was the first to spring to mind when a plan was being discussed to attract visitors to the village.

The opening of the museum and exhibition coincided  with the 150th Anniversary of the birth of Banjo Paterson. e main street to house the Museum /Exhibition  Banjo Paterson …more than a poet.

The Museum / Exhibition contains Paterson Memorabilia, letters, books, newspapers, original scripts, and a whole host of associated material to show the life and times of Banjo Paterson.
