Celebrating the 160th Anniversary of Andrew ‘Banjo’ Paterson’s birthday

On 17 February 2024 at Banjo Paterson Park, 330 Ophir Road, Orange.

From 11.00am enjoy games for children, train rides, a merry-go-round, poetry, the Canobolas Pipe Band a BBQ or bring your own picnic and rug and chair.

Banjo Paterson Memorial Park is part of the original Narrambla Estate. Andrew Barton (Banjo) Paterson was born at Templer’s Mill, Narrambla, Ophir Road in 1864. Today the site is dedicated as a public recreational park.
