Errowanbang

Errowanbang was also known as Flyers Creek, was one section of the Church and School Corporation lands set aside from the area formerly reserved for government grazing. In the late 1820s – early 1830s the Corporation had 85,388 acres west of the Belubula, in addition to their 50,844 acres near Rockley. Part of this section, which retained the name Errowanbang, became the property of William Lawson, who already held land west of Flyers Creek. Errowanbang passed to his son, William Jr, who married Thomas Icely’s sister.

There was an old homestead dating from the 1840s and a massive three-level shearing shed dating from the 1890s which still stands today.
