It was presented to Mr Stephen Vidler by the Australian Made Preference League on the occasion of the visit of the Great White Exhibition touring train in 1926.
This shield was awarded for Vidler’s shop window display during the visit of the Great White Train to Blayney. The train was an exhibition train promoting Australian made goods.
The Great White Train was a concept by a consortium of Sydney based industrialists to convince Australians to by Australian Made. The train made two tours in New South Wales, the first tour included Blayney.
