A single metal clasp on outside of case secures the lid.
No engravings on case, although some black markings on top (4 F.C).
On underside of lid is a fixed gauge with glass tube and black strips with white numbers on either side, which are metal.
'Made in England' printed on C black strip near top.
An orange and black disc with 'Accoson/Made in England' is positioned next to the gauge and beneath' 'Metal Case' and 'Hospital Made' on an orange metal label and beneath this 'BS 27 44'.
A rubber hose (black) is attached to a cylinder next to bottom of inside lid and the flexible hose attaches to a back rubber bulb and a cotton cuff with 2 large velcro panels and a black and orange cotton label 'Accoson/Pre-measured/Adult/Made in England/Artery'.
